Lisa Merito
Lisa Merito is a seasoned construction professional with nearly three decades of experience supporting complex commercial and multifamily projects through every phase of development. She joins M&D General Contracting as Project Coordinator, bringing deep expertise in project administration, budgeting, scheduling, contract compliance, and construction accounting.
Lisa holds a degree in Construction Technology from Northlake and is a Certified Construction Administrator and Accountant, as well as a commissioned Texas Notary. Her background spans multifamily ground-up construction, national commercial remodels, architectural firms, and contractor operations—giving her a well-rounded, highly practical understanding of how projects move from concept to close-out. Throughout her career, she has been trusted with critical responsibilities including budget creation and tracking, AIA invoicing and pay applications, permit and bond procurement, insurance coordination, lien releases, and close-out documentation.
Most recently, Lisa served as Construction Coordinator and Accountant with A.G. Spanos Companies, where she supported multifamily developments from utilities through completion, managed project schedules, processed consultant and subcontractor draws, and worked extensively with systems such as Timberline, GCPay, Procure, and Excel. Prior to that, she coordinated national remodel programs for brands such as Chili’s, Outback Steakhouse, AMC Theatres, and Panda Express, handling time-sensitive logistics, purchasing, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Lisa’s career also includes contract review and risk administration, office and facilities management for architecture firms, estimating support, and bookkeeping for startup construction ventures. Known for her precision, organization, and reliability, she has long served as a central point of accountability between owners, contractors, architects, municipalities, and vendors.
At M&D General Contracting, Lisa plays a key role in keeping projects moving efficiently, accurately, and transparently—supporting the team’s commitment to disciplined execution, operational excellence, and redefining what clients deserve.
